Owen is a Partner at Boston Meridian and has more than 30 years of investment banking experience. As an M&A specialist, Owen has advised clients on over 200 transactions with a total transaction value of over $40 billion.
Prior to joining Boston Meridian, Owen oversaw Robert W. Baird & Company’s investment banking practice in San Francisco and was a senior member of their M&A Group. At Baird, Owen provided strategic advice to public and private companies on buyside and sellside acquisitions/divestitures, mergers, strategic alternatives, defense, and other financial advisory services across multiple sectors, including Technology, Services, Consumer, Health Care, and Industrials.
Previously, Owen spent nearly a decade at Cowen and Company as a Managing Director and the Head of West Coast Mergers & Acquisitions focusing on the Technology, Services and Consumer sectors. Prior to Cowen, he was a Founding Partner at Thomas Weisel Partners and led the firm’s Services, Semiconductor, Semiconductor Capital Equipment, Storage and Consumer M&A practices. Before TWP, Owen held senior banking roles at Montgomery Securities and was a founding member of Lazard Freres & Co. Real Estate Group. He began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert as a member of their Real Estate group.
Owen holds a BA from Tufts University, an MLA from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
